Squid Of The Month Club

Dear Blog Reader,

You have been enrolled (at no cost to you) to the all-new Squid Of The Month Club. Each month, the writers and management at Squid On The Grill will bring you a new and exciting squid, directly to your computer screen! So, with no further ado, here is your very first squid...


Arrow Squid

Size: Grows to 76cm (1.5kg)

Appearance: Arrow squid are distinguished by parallel wing flaps at one end shaped like an arrow. White or rusty brown coloring.

Habitat: Found in Southern Australian waters from N.S.W. around to Western Australia.

Other information: Arrow squid are a good deal more aggressive than either southern calamari or cuttlefish and a good deal more mobile as well. Although considered nocturnal, they are also active during the day.
